Skip meals and losing sleep just to play, calling themselves their avatar names, a constant urge to have all audio tracks from their favourite games, talking about the game all the times and they begin to imagine things are some of the earliest signs mentioned in the article.
Method that are being listed down are balancing life by getting outdoors more often instead of sitting in front of the computer during their free time, get their parents to lock up the computer, start to socialise more with their friends and also a lot of persevere is needed in order to overcome the addiction to gaming.
What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If a close friend of yours confesses to you that he/she is addicted to online games, what would your advice to him/her be?
I will not be surprised as I am a addict of computer games last time. I will probably warned her stop addicting to online games. If they refused to listen i can do nothing about it but just to tell them what are the bad stuff if she / he continue to be an addict.

The reasons are to keep track of her children and their friends and also to keep in touch with them and to encourage her children and their friends by giving words of encouragement when she feels that they need some.
Do you think it is a good idea to accept requests by your parents to add them readily to your friends' list on the Facebook? Why?

How does HFMD spread and what are some of the preventive measures that the childcare centres and kindergardens have taken to ensure that the disease contain?
Mostly young children are the ones who are affected by HFMD. It spread through bodily fluids, which is why it can be passed quickly among young children who share toys that they may have put into their mouth.
This is some of the precautions taken by kindergardens and childcare centre. Kindergarten and childcare centre are sanitised and thoroughly cleaned before every session to avoid a repeat of last year's incident, when the centre had to shut for 10 days. She added that children have been drilled into a routine of heading straight to the toilet to wash up and clean their hands with a sanitiser before classes and meals and lastly, stepping up the cleaning of classrooms as the number of children coming down with hand.
In your opinion, what implications will the childcare centres face if the HFMD issue escalates further?
I think that most likely childcare centre would extinct! :D

What were some reasons cited in this article why there was a need to have parking lots for women in this buildings?
It would be easier for women who are wearing heels or those with young childrens. As heels need a great balancing skill XD. While for those with young children they need to take the necessary items that were needed to bring and take care of their children at the same time.
In your opinion, do you think it is necessary to allocate parking lots for women only? Why?
Seriously, it is not in a need for those parking lots. It is not fair for he opposite sex.(because they don't wear heels.) For some areas, it would be hard to find parking lots too.
Which group of people do you feel should be allocated such priority parking? Explain?
There are 3 group of people that i feel should be allocated to such priority parking. First, for the handicapped people. Second, for elderly. Third, for pregnant woman. Because handicapped people would have difficulties in their movement, this applies to elderly and pregnant women too.

David spend up to 6 hours a day playing the world famous MMORPG game: World of Warcraft when he had a deadline of March 10 to submit his Final-Year-Project (FYP). David normally stop playing when exams were coming or when there was a project given. Besides that, two weeks before his death, he stop communicating with his friends.

Help for single mums
1. (What project was launched to help single mums? Briefly explain what is this project about?)
The project called WeCare for U - U forms the logo of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and is meant to represent every worker. Single mothers, who are likely to face a tough time in the current downturn, are the focus of a new project by the labour movement. They will get help finding a job, and also be able to join support groups that arrange activities for them and their children. It aims to reach out to divorcees, widows and other single mothers who not only have a tougher time juggling work and family.
2.(Imagine you come across a single mum who is unemployed, what are some advice you can give her? Who can she turn to?)
I know that single mothers have to work, earn money and to care for their children. I think they should attend programmes like "We care for U" to learn methods or solutions to solve dfficult problems that they can't solve by themself.

Week 3
Article: “Ink Corporated” – ‘IN’ Section (Pg 8-9)
Question 1: What are some reasons stated in the article why some people choose to have body art like tattoos or piercings done on parts of their body.
One of the reasons that contribute to this factor is that people want to be more unique then other people. As there are still many people did not do any scarification. Another reason that contribute to this factor is that to have friends that have done scarification. For example, you are part of a sub-group, you will want to conform into it.
Question 2: (a) What are some impressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo?
I would think they are crazy? To spend money on scarification, that will form scars that will take decades to recover.Although they can bear the pain of having scarification, can they take the risk of getting infected by some virus: Infections, HIV etc. I think they will somehow regret later on.
(b) Would you consider getting a tattoo in future? Why?
No, getting a tattoo is a waste of my money,time and life. Getting a tattoo cost my money. Waste a few hours to do surgery. Risk my life to get infections. Why should I consider of getting a tattoo in future?
